principles.
Joe Allard. Legendary clarinet and saxophone teacher who taught mostly in New York City at schools such as Julliard, Columbia, Manhattan School of Music, etc. His students included Eddie Daniels, Michael Brecker, Paul Cohen, David Liebman, Eric Dolphy, Lee Konitz, and many, many others in the saxophone and clarinet world, both classical and jazz. He also taught my saxophone teacher, Bob Ackerman. The following are links related to Joe Allard and his teaching.
